Supplement to mitigate heat stress (Pashu Sheetvardhak )
High ambient temperature and relative humidity leads to heat stress in dairy animals. Heat stress causes reduction in dry matter intake and also diversion of nutrients for maintaining physiological parameters, resulting in decreased productivity.
NDDB has developed a heat stress supplement named “Pashu Sheetvardhak” for minimising the productivity loss and maintaining the physiological parameters during heat stress period in dairy animals. Supplementation of this supplement @ 350g/day /animal improves milk yield by up to 11.0 per cent and fat content by up to 7.0 per cent in cows and buffaloes.
